Have you seen the video? You know the one where the ball girl makes an amazing catch in the left-field corner during a minor-league baseball game? You haven't? Well, click here to see the video, but be prepared to be amazed.

So, does it surprise you to know that the video isn't real? I didn't think so. So, it is a viral video that was part of a marketing campaign. Thing is, who is it an ad for (it's there, but you have to look very closely)? It was posted on June 3 but received the most publicity this week - Good Morning America even covered it yesterday.

Yes, it is an ad, and it is an ad for ... Gatorade (look by her feet when she sits down). With more than 1.5 million views, this is one heck of a get for the Gatorade brand - which is part of PepsiCo (PEP: View sentiment for PEPsentiment, chart, options) . With the viral appeal of this video, it is getting passed around and mass hits over on YouTube, but the payoff is now - when people (like yours truly) start talking about the video and the company for which the video was made. Good move Pepsi.
